Double Jump Boots
For Bloodhunt, I created the boots asset used to represent the character’s double jump ability. The goal was to make something that felt readable in-game while still fitting the visual style and material language of the project.
My work included:
- High-poly sculpting in ZBrush
- Low-poly modeling and UVs in Blender
- Texturing in Substance Painter
- Final presentation in Unreal Engine
Asset Breakdown
The asset was built as a game-ready prop with a final texture set authored at 1K resolution, keeping it efficient for in-game use while still holding up visually at the intended camera distance. I rendered the final asset in Unreal Engine to better match the game’s real-time lighting and material pipeline.
