Currency
I was responsible for the rendering, lighting, post processing and re-texturing of all the assets used for the currency UI, working entirely within the engine. To achieve the look of large heaps of coins, I combined simulated coin assets dropped on a tiling coins texture placed underneath for added depth and volume, which I then created in Substance Designer. The original high-poly models were created by our talented outsourcing partners; my focus was on adapting and integrating them for in-engine use.
